Postdoctoral position available in plant molecular biology

We are looking for a dynamic postdoctoral researcher for Laboratory of Molecular Physiology (http://aix-slx.upol.cz/~fellner/jobs.html). This position will center on basic research aimed to study interaction of plant hormones with light in ability of tomato plants to withstand abiotic and biotic stress. Cloning and functional analysis of unknown gene cloning is the main tasks of the project.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in plant physiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry, and he/she must have strong expertise in molecular biology, especially focused to gene cloning, bioinformatics, and proteomics. The applicant must be able to conduct research independently while collaborating effectively with other members in the lab. The candidates who have tendency to build up own research group and have qualities to innovate the lab are very welcome. The position is available from September 2008 and for three years.
